Looking at this from a science perspective…

There’s probably a reason why most non-primitive cultures outlawed that practice…

Namely blood-borne illnesses. Of course, the ones that didn’t outlaw cannibalistic shit ended up with fucking kuru, et al…

Clearly “the ancients” figures this shit out over only a few generations, at least in, umm, “civilized” society…
