Pedolytes are vastly over represented in every media format. The head of GLAAD even admitted to this years ago discussing representation in movies then demanded more representation in the same breath.
If I interviewed that group I’d ask them wouldn’t it make more sense to just fund a streaming service for lgbt content? It’s been proven over and over again that content that really pushes it doesn’t appeal to the masses for the most part.
There’s no money in it, bravo was the gay channel and it flopped. They have to make successful things gay because the option of gay lets people ignore it and it fails.
Similar to injecting “diversity” into western classics. I forgot about bravo. There was also a logo channel. I remember my mom was upset with the cable company a few y are back because every channel package had to include the gay channel. On the bright side, the Great American Family Channel (the one started by the former hallmark channel ceo after hallmark decided to ignore who actually watches the channel) is doing great. It gets attacked for not having gay characters but isn’t that what the market is for? Find something that appeals to you
