Actually, the least funny part was the forced Trump injection at the end. Didn't need it.
I don't think Trump created it. At least that's what I've heard but could be wrong.
At this point I am convinced that Trump is a pied Piper president, as stated in the Clinton emails back in 2016. My guess is the plan was for him to gain the presidency, corral all the dissidents together, and do a whole bunch of nothing for 4 years so that any dissident favoring gains he made can be easily walked back. COVID would be the end game for this plan, but they didn't count on DeSantis and now they don't know what to do.
this, of course, assumes DeSantis is not also in on the game.
