Its a custom create a character, so even though Ubisoft likes to pretend it has "canon" choices for the MCs, most people probably went with the Male one anyway, much like AC Odyssey. Just the same as that game, it seems the designers didn't get the "canon" memo and both games seem designed for the Male MC in terms of writing and worldbuilding and the marketing team went the other way.

And the game doesn't really choose lines on which Gods to roast over their retardation and historical messes. Aphrodite is the first God you technically rescue and the entire zone is mocking her for being vain, ditzy and her sluttiness killing and ruining many people. Zeus just gets the most because he is one of the two narrators for the entire game.
