A lot of Jews who supported Trump moved over to DeSantis.
If you play the political game, you have to pick someone, right?
Isn't that why people support Trump no matter how much he sold out? "He's not perfect, but he's the best candidate." And FWIW, Trump has done a crap ton for jews throughout his presidency. They even gave him a Good Goy award.
And I'm not endorsing DeSantis for President (nor do I vote) so it doesn't matter for me. Either way, this country is fucked, better off focusing on red states.
Trump's policies were very good for Jews, and he let Kushner run his administration. That's why Jews supported him. The problem for Jews is how Trump's rhetoric animated white people, particularly on immigration. In DeSantis, they see someone who is just as big of a butt-goy but won't animate whites in the same way.
Trump's rhetoric didn't animate white people because his supporters believe it's globalists/liberals/communists/etc.
Jews have a guilty conscious and think of everything as a dog whistle so of course they'd attribute any RW rhetoric to themselves.
The truth is, many of Trump's supporters did support his pro-Israel policies, at least up until the end of his presidency. It was only afterwards that they started connecting the dots when they went to sites like Gab and .Win, but it's impossible to still support Trump and blame jews at this point, unless they're flaming hypocrites.
At the end of the day, him and DeSantis are both shabbos goys, so there's no point in supporting either of them as president.
Trump still animated white people just by re-normalizing resistance to immigration. Jews put a lot of effort into normalizing the "nation of immigrants" psyop. The ADL was spouting that since at least the 1950s, for example. Trump helped rollback the effects of that propaganda campaign, even though he did nothing policy wise to fix it and misdirected blame.
I agree supporting any of the Presidential candidates is foolish because their policies will all be garbage. The only angle is potential "propaganda" victories.
