Well the premise seems interesting in the sense of vampire hunters vs vampire gods, but the second I read "scientist created vampires trying to save his daughter and became their god", I knew it would be shit.
It would be good if it were just Borderlands or Dead Island with vampires, that's a pretty low bar too, but they insisted on making it more grounded and over-explaining everything in the summary articles.
Yeah. Mysterious "Vampire gods" that come out of nowhere, block off a small town, warp away the sun and the sea with strange powers and establish a cult that you have to figure out the mystery behind and kill your way through? Sounds badass. Personally, I don't object to the broad strokes of the route they chose, although I can understand why one might. The particulars of every character and all the gameplay involved, however, are irredeemably slathered in woke incompetence. As is tradition in modern AAA gaming, I suppose.
