Because you should use the least evil/worst one, and that's not a google chromium browser. Starting with worst, there's safari (web kit) & google chromium (blink) [shared place], chromium forks, firefox (gecko), FF forks, Pale Moon (Goanna).
I disagree. Mozilla has shown themselves to be the most actively subversive. I don't care much at all about browser politics. But I do care a lot about an organization that actively supports marxism and critical theory and hates people like you and me.
You don't think Apple and google are woke? google's reach is also a hell of lot larger, and insidious (google is in the steam client, smartphones, browser ads/analytics, apps, site fonts, etc etc ). I'm not saying "use FF". I don't either. I use Pale Moon (which is an updated and modern HARD fork of FF before FF turned their browser into chromium-lite). If you don't care to use Pale Moon, or Basilisk, then an FF fork is the next least worst choice.

I just picked a fork arbitrarily. I don't use any FF derivative at all. I don't see the need to.
