Somewhat related but If the boycott on budlight works it will have a major ripple that the companies will have to acknowledge. (although I doubt it will work because the right are just stupid consumers)
If it works it means that the companies must take the right in to account, you can't ignore it as they have for so long, it will mean they will at least allow right wings views to exist in the public eye without being demonized at every step and it may even lead to right wing people being hired - this in turn would imply that right wing views will become acceptable in the workplace and you can no longer cancel people for saying all lives matter or because they voted for Trump. Although it may end up with woke marketing managers throwing a bone about patriotism and the right will eat it all up.
I'm not even sure if it is better or worse, left being subtle is how we got here in the first place.
This is also why the “right” wingers like trump are saying not to boycott bud light. Why joe Rogan says “it’s silly”. They don’t actually want the populist right to succeed in taking a company because they know they will be next if they continue playing the neocon game.
I actually think this one is working/will work because Miller and Coors exist and are essentially the same product but from a different company. Boycotting the NFL or NBA doesn't work because there aren't really any equivalents for people to switch to that aren't owned by the same people. I guess now we have the USFL, but I'm not sure who owns that league.
Just saw on the news that bud sales have reportedly dropped 7% total. Coors and Miller have seen increased sales.
Some areas have seen increased bud sales in highly liberal areas. But that will probably stop because they don't normally drink that style of beer to begin with.
I saw an old teacher virtue signal purchase, and then turn around and wonder how long it would take him to go through since he doesn't really drink. I just laughed.

7% drop in sales is not negligible but it should be 50% drop in sales if not more.
