Biden may regulate AI for ‘disinformation,' 'discriminatory outcomes'

The Biden administration is looking at regulations that would require audits of AI systems to make sure they don't promote disinformation, a top official said.

It shouldn't apply to machine learning any more then any other computer program. Free speech attaches to the operator of the machine, not the code running on it.
