California blew their surplus in under a decade, went from getting 74 cents per dollar sent to now being indebted to the federal government at 1.02 dollars per dollar sent in just over a decade, and are looking at a one of the fastest shrinking populations in the country despite illegal immigration.
To be fair, they're not counting all of the illegals. There are millions more people in California than either the state or federal governments will admit to, and the same is true across the US and in every other Western country.
Naw g, the government took the illegal immigrant question off the census under Obama. The government holds fast there are just as many illegal immigrants as their last census in 2008, every other study has it about double and that’s with the exclusion of anchor babies/ dreamers
fyi 3 of the top 5 cities in the US for low unemployment are in Florida: https://twitter.com/GiancarloSopo/status/1646489050390360064
Everyone has a job, they just can't afford rent in Orlando.
New College is the most batshit insane college there is. They make the NYU Frankfurt school look like radical reactionaries.
That's why DeSantis replaced their whole board.
Interestingly the question here is often put wrong by both sides. The question is whether state executives, as elected representatives of the people, can control the staffing of publicly funded Universities. The natural answer is yes because if not who is in charge?
Leftists wanna argue state has to pay the bill and still gets no input; that the org is self-managing. This is actually true for private land-trust universities. Not this school, though.
is brown.
Which is ironic as he's going after florida, a state so full of old people that "blue pilling" has two meanings there.
