Taking responsibility doesn't change that. "Stfu and gbtw", as others have said, doesn't work either.

Which... Some people might find an acceptable outcome. I'm sure some people here (not you) would say "Ah well, another weakling out of the gene pool".
But society cannot operate like that. Well, modern society cannot. I know people here think that empathy is overrated, but...
Believe me, in the throes of clinical depression, or even knowing someone close who is experiencing that... Saying "nah, it's not real", or "get over it" - well, let's just say... It's going to make the situation so much worse...
I agree depression and anxiety are real. I mean overblown in the sense that I hear that used a lot when people don’t want to do something and they use mental health as an excuse for everything. But I certainly understand there are legit issues but unfortunately we live in a time that makes it very easy to use excuses
