Featuring Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, who was warned by doctors on the two-part series that he was at serious risk of a heart attack or a stroke due to his weight.
For anyone that didn't watch - when LeinsterLad says "retired professionals", we're talking really out of shape mid 50 year olds.
The poor guys got run ragged by the 11-14 year old boys team, and yet still somehow managed to beat the current (current as of a couple of years ago, when this aired) Crystal Palace Ladies team (Just as a note, their men's side is in the top tier, i.e. Premier League, so it's a fairly big club).
Seriously, some of these guys were really out of shape. :D Still got the job done vs the ladies side. It honestly should have been 2 - 0, as well, as Merson missed one (badly) 1 v 1 through on the keeper.
Thanks for the link, Leinster. The show seems pretty hilarious, and I'm going to try to track down all the episodes.
Retired professionals lose to an under 15 boys team, then beat women's team -
