Harry Potter was no different in how the boys were inept and every positive male role model was killed off or retconned to be gay. Women love Harry Potter because of the implicit drama and feminist worshipping.
Were the books that bad? Last one I read was Order of the Phoenix and I remember it being kind of based, the villain is an authoritarian cat-lady cunt, Harry Potter starts an underground militia, etc.
