They don't want YOU to run those models or train up a model on your own without controlling it.

They absolutely don't.

We will see moves to make tinkering with AI require licenses. This shit will be treated like handling explosives and radioactive material.

To be honest, I see nothing wrong with that. The problem is the human element -- The people making the rules are the worst people on the planet. I'd much rather have a totalitarian AI than the current crop of assholes.
