(Posting this not because "my opinions are so important", but because I saw many people saying that "no one here supports JK Rowling.)
Because she has courage.
I don't agree with her on everything. But I'd rather have someone who doesn't agree with me, but who has courage, than a pathetic coward who agrees with me on everything. How bad would that make me look?
I feel the same way about Roger Waters. Like Paul Joseph Watson said:
You have to respect Roger Waters. Don't agree with him on a lot, but he could have safely retired with his massive pile of money and had a quiet life. Instead, he's 79 and is still a constant irritant to the regime. Few such cases. source
Be an irritant to the regime.
I don't support Rowling but that doesn't mean I'm antagonistic towards her. She's in the bracket of 'she's annoying at times but really useful at pissing off my enemies'. Her work resulting in the Hogwarts Legacy debacle that has done more to move the anti trans sentiment than ANY detransitioner (because the media silences them quickly) is evidence of that.
But I put her with all TERFs as 'useful but not to be given a pass' as a lot of their earlier pushes is why we are in the state we are in now. I'm just hoping the leftist civil war happens so willing to hold fire for now, especially since the other side are VERY open about their pedophilia...
JK Rowling is in absolutely no way an irritant to the regime, the only people against her are screeching troons on twitter and resetera and the like. She's in no danger of losing anything at all.
About 4 months ago, fresh off the most intense period of the censorship campaign targeted at her, Rowling posted this tweet.
She is not an irritant to the regime. She is not simply someone with whom we might disagree on some things, agree on others, but with whom we share a common interest in freedom of expression: she is an active advocate of censorship for political dissidents, so long as they are not her.
She will continue to shriek from the hilltops about her right to free speech at the same time that she demands you be denied yours.
A similar TERF and (now former) cancel culture adherent, Graham Linehan, who was one of the most obnoxious anti-GGers back in the day, has himself endured a similar cancellation to Rowling's, and for the same reasons. He used that experience as a reason to reexamine his views on censorship and cancel culture. He has since acknowledged that he was wrong about Gamer Gate, and has issued a public apology to Count Dankula after spending years demanding he be sent to prison over the Nazi pug video.
That is an example of someone with whom we might disagree, but find common ground, because when his turn came to be an irritant to the regime and pay the price for it, he admitted he'd been wrong to support their tactics.
Rowling has proven herself incapable of either the moral or intellectual capacity to do this.
Linehan can still suckstart a pump action for all I care.
I support TERFs because they had the balls [kek] to ignite the Leftist civil war, and I loves me some leftist civil war.
The Dave Chappelle comedy specials, culminating in "The Closer" were the biggest nut punch to trannies yet delivered, and it came from a black man.
Kanye then went off on the jews, and was destroyed for it, then Dave Chappelle didn't exactly defend Kanye on SNL, but also carefully explained how yes, the jews do in fact control Hollywood. Lots of people got mad at Chappelle after that SNL monologue, but he's untouchable. The man is fire.
The entire Leftist coalition depends on the fact that a bunch of groups that would normally hate each other all work together in concert to take down THE HWHITE MAN, and thanks to JK Rowling and later Dave Chappelle (& Ye RIP), we are finally seeing the intersectional coalition begin to tear itself apart.
More, please.
This post is the least surprising thing you've ever said. I think everyone knew you were a closet TERF.
It's that obvious and yet you still charged in thinking you had a point to make.
