Exactly. You have to deliberately ignore (or be ignorant of) many things to be a leftist in the internet age.

It's pretty easy though. Just tell yourself "I only trust news from these half dozen reputable sources I've been told to trust. Everything else is a conspiracy theory crackpot hate site. The headlines Google or Apple sends to my smartphone, and the top stories on reddit are the truth. I share interesting headlines that support the narrative with my friends. I don't even need to read the articles."
