Want to know why so many industries get disrupted? Architecture for example uses two programs to design things, both of them are nothing compared to a level editor for Half Life. Then AI comes along, and tried and true, architects say it doesn't show the heart and ideas of architecture. The article mentions hundreds of thousands working at the same company to produce a major building, and yet with a bit of tech knowledge it could be turned into one.
Look up the McDonald's next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was bama. They had cultural artifacts, and an amazing display. The building was designed to look like a traditional Hawaiian house. Then it was torn down, and the new one looks like a regular McDonald's.
