Tennessee did not "ban drag shows". The fact that he brazenly lied shows how cunning he and his ilk are. He knows it's not true. But he also knows that his audience of clapping seals would never do their own research, so he can mislead - or, perhaps, misinform? - without any consequences.
Motte and Bailey. It's the one move the ENTIRE leftist playbook is based on. Make an outrageous claim, either gain ground or retreat because of a "small mistake"
The way the Mottes are placed, even 'retreating' from an outrageous position still gains ground. Every Motte is just a little more to the left. You can watch them ratcheting the Overton Window if you pay attention long enough.
The clapping seals won't and useful idiots don't, of course. The rest of us, though...

With the left it can be hard to tell who is the trainer and who are the seals.
Very true. I know people who repeat leftist narratives that I know they're smart enough not to believe, but they really seem to believe them anyway. And I can't tell if they're trying to fool me, trying to fool themselves, or are just plain evil.
The law is literally one page but they'll never read it. It literally only banned drag shows (and cabaret or any other type of show) with sexual content when children are present. The fact the gay community is so up in arms over the fact they can't expose children to sexual content says a lot about the gay community. The law doesn't go far enough; in practice all they did is essentially ban dudes in bdsm gear at pride parades (and that was probably already technically illegal anyway).
A communist is also lying hysterically? And you say it's also about something related to molesting kids?
