I frequent RT a fair bit. I find their coverage is pretty good of western politics overall. They def omit a lot of Russian politics that doesn't suit their narrative and the Ukraine coverage is very lacking but it's actually not a play place to read about Western and European news and geopolitics overall. RT will cover stuff that western media will try to ignore.
I did see some contemporaneous RT videos covering the protest at the time that were factual and based.
