But why? What does #NotAllWomen even achieve? (aside from avoiding the incredibly obviously abused Rule 16)
Do you see the other side saying not all men? I think I shared an academic study once where they said saying not all men is condoning violence against women and the men who don't do anything about it.
Edit : I did share that study - I found it.
There you fucking go. Hate all men or you love murderers, say the people who actually love murderers so much they get them out of jail.
Your problem is literally the exact same problem as the feminists. You see a Matriarchy Monolith just like they see a Patriarchy Conspiracy. You focus on our warped culture overall and ignore the trees for the forest.
Every time you rant about how all women are the devil, I think of my sister who streams video games with me every Monday and trusts me to babysit my nephew for her. I think of my mom who pulls me out of depressive episodes and has long talks with me. I think of my cousin-in-law, who appreciates my company even after I sperged out and insulted her tastes.
I think of all the wonderful women in my life, and everything you say starts to ring hollow, even with the bits of truth you've latched onto rattling around inside.
Seriously, don't you see the problem with this? Your own sister trusting you to babysit your nephew is something that you should expect by default. It's nothing special. It should just be the way of the world. The fact that you think this shows a "good side" of women paints an extremely sad picture. Why should women treating a man as a person be anything to write about? Worse, why should a woman treating her own male relatives as people be anything to write about?
...yes. I'm living the default. That's the whole point. We live in a fallen world, but not everything is completely corrupt. There is still light.
You are taking Imp's comments far too seriously. He's a bit extreme, but that's nothing unusual on the internet. Fighting corruption isn't going to come from expecting only the default. It's going to come from expecting more. From fighting for more.
In my view, the problem with Imp isn't so much that his comments about women are crazy (they are over the top sometimes but whatever), it's that his focus on women distracts from men thinking about themselves. Men are never going to get any sympathy and respect from anyone, least of all women, unless they stand up and demand it. You need to do that rather than complaining about someone spouting shit about women on the internet. You need to care more about yourself than you care about "defending" women.
But I could easily make the same arguments back - for every nice parent, there's a hundred trashy single moms who abuse their kids and teach them to be the perfect target for a woman to exploit.
What about the tens of thousands of female teachers openly grading boys down? What about the open feminists on college campuses who teach men to hate themselves? What about the OnlyFans/Twitch exploiter class? What about the likely millions of women working HR worldwide that openly discriminate against men in hiring? What about the 61% of US women who identify as feminist and think all of the above groups are doing the right thing?
Why can women hate all of us for the tiny, tiny minority of men (that they raised) that are rapists and murderers, but saying anything back is met with derision despite the huge percentage of women that deserve the label of "evil person"?
So congratulations, you act just as irrationally as feminists do.
I hate feminists.
You do the math.
