The sad part is that he was probably taught by his mom to not hit women.
He is also significantly smaller and probably about 12 if he is a seventh grader. It’s not like he is a small 16 year old guy who has already hit puberty and has the full benefit of testosterone for years. On top of that she appears to have a longer reach, he is cornered and the bully has more friends considering no one stepped in and it’s being filmed. There is numerous reasons why the kid possibly didn’t fight back, but he should have never had needed to in the first place. Whether better discipline on a school bus or some other kid willing to step in and stop it. I love hearing about bullies picking the wrong victim, but I think if he had hit her he would have been hurt significantly worse and unfortunately the school would have punished him.
It’s not a just world, and if you can afford it don’t send your kids to public school.
It's current year, you expect something normal. It's almost certain it's a single mom, kid never learned how to be masculine and defend himself. .
Or he is at work.
Every news report I see about some woman complaining about something involving children I always ask "what about the father" out loud. The complaint would usually be solved by a spouse but instead they are wanting more government money.
