While the world burns... Here's an anime iceberg I made a while back.

Meanwhile ones that watch one from the top put weeb in their profile (always women). I get a weird sense of satisfaction when I'm on discord voice and I "innocently" press them on it and it turns out they actually don't know any anime. I know it's incredibly petty but I can't help it, it's just so funny.
The dumbest thing about index is simply the fact they refuse to make more seasons. Meanwhile pretty boy swimmers and basketball players get a shitton of them. It's not fair
Also still annoyed at hidan no aria only getting the stupid Yuri sidestory animated instead of another season. It has 38 volumes and the last one came out Christmas last year... So it must have been plenty profitable to go on for so many years.
"Oh, you like anime? What shows?"
"Avatar and Teen Titans!"
I remember the theory back when they made season 3 was that they were just rushing through it to get to the really good stuff. Either that was never true, or season 3 flopped so damn badly it dissuaded them from continuing. I've always heard really good things about the source material after season 3.
There's nothing I would love more than another season of that so I could feel like it's a decade ago again with Rie Kugimiya voicing a tsundere lead.
Hidan no Aria was the one main show of that variety that I didn't watch way back when but I picked up the novels last year when I was shocked to see it was still going strong. Often times the amazon reviews of the latest novels for series that go that long are littered with "ugh this is dragging on" and "just end it already" but the ones for Aria are still quite positive. So I'm very curious how they kept it going that long. I'll go through them sometime in the future when I finally have a lot of time on my hands....I did open to a random part of like volume 19 or something and read some pretty hype excerpts though.
That being said I feel like Aria has next to no popularity in the west so I was surprised to see you bring it up.
I stopped watching Index because of Crunchyroll. Choosing to use "sissy" as a translation for "onee-sama" was among the MANY things that made the series completely unbearable to watch.
There IS a "fixed" pirate version that just keeps it as onee-sama (and fixes a few other of Crunchyroll's "genius" lol-cow-lization choices), but at that point, you're going through a lot of extra effort.
Downloading fansubs from nyaa really doesn't take much extra effort in my opinion. But yeah sissy is absolutely unforgivable.
Do you know Magika no Kenshi to Shoukan Maou? That's the one I will forever be surprised it never got an anime. Great actual harem story from start to finish. I've seen way worse works get animated.
I dont think I've ever heard of it but I'll definitely look it up when I get home, thanks.
