So not exactly the best course of action.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Did you seriously accuse the West of having 'honor'? The people who protect grooming gangs, who poison communities as in East Palestine, who shoot unarmed women in the throat, who invade one country after another and wreck them... have honor? Honor must mean something completely different there in Crazyland.
So it's about the West's "ability to expand". Good to know.
On the contrary, it is a contest between the Russian idea that Russia has the right to control its neighbors vs. the American idea that America has the right to control the world.
What are you talking about? Karabach is full of Armenians. There is nothing Azerbaijani about that territory.
LOL! Are you trying to get Georgia wrecked as well now?
Womp womp! Though I agree that Turkey is definitely abusing it. See, this is what happens when your petty alliance includes countries that occupy their neighbors, and you do nothing about it because they are your allies and it's OK when your buddies do it.
Is there even a Russian air force?
I have heard that Russia is unhappy with the leadership of Armenia and is trying to punsih it in this way.
Sad how geopolitics work.
They have ae lot to offer: getting an entire generation of your young men killed, and blowing up the pipelines of their own allies. Well, some allies. I'd rather be independent from both the corrupt West and Russia - though Europe as a whole should ally with Russia and China against the US.
So the EU doesn't actually care about countries invading their neighbors and committing genocide, despite claims to the contrary. The West has hypocrisy as its state religion. But I already knew.
Actually it's going to be the best choice they ever made. Had they placated Russia, they would have gotten invaded anyway unless they were willing to be Putin's absolute toady and vassal state like Lukashenko.
Ukraine will eventually win this war, the only question is whether they lose some territory or not, and after they emerge victorious with their right of self determination fully intact, they will enter an economic golden age thanks to leaving the iron curtain to join the West.
Yes, the West does indeed have the concept of honor.
Yes, and? Just because some people in the West are stupid or evil, doesn't mean we all are.
I'm not going to continue replying to you, certainly not in the courteous fashion I have been, if you make the puerile comebacks over and over. Putting "good to know" is an obnoxious comment intended to irritate me. If you keep that up, I'll do it back.
And yes, I was speaking to you in terms I knew you would understand. The West does, indeed, want to expand, it just does so through consent and countries coming to the West, as opposed to invasion and murder like Russia and China do, because no one voluntarily wants to join Russia or China.
the American idea that
America has the right to control the world.countries have a right to self-determination.And Ukraine is full of Ukrainians, not Russians, yet you claim Russia can invade it and it isn't a real country.
Also the borders after the earlier war didn't perfectly line up with Armenian ethnic majorities, there was plenty of other land taken from Azerbaijan.
Wrecked by what army? The one dying in Ukraine? Russia is too weak to fight anyone else. Latvia could invade and drive to Moscow unopposed.
Yes, and? Welcome to political realism. It's funny that your brain cannot comprehend the complexity of the reality that the West isn't black and white, it is a complex mix of both idealism and realism, with the border between the two often, but not always, defined by reality. For Turkey: the reality that no one can stop Turkey without a war. No one is willing to go to war over petty shit like a little piece of Syria. And Turkey is still strategically important enough to not evict from NATO even though they're a bunch of douchebags now.
It was on paper the 2nd most powerful air force in the world. Too bad it couldn't even manage to get air superiority over Ukraine. Sad. But it could have still done good work against Azerbaijan, Putin just doesn't care.
The one thing the Russian air force can still do well is shoot down enemy aircraft from long ranges. Since Azerbaijan has total air superiority over Armenia and used this to dominate Armenia in the war with fire support from drones and other aircraft, Russian air support would have been invaluable in stopping Azerbaijan's attacks and allowing Armenia to stabilize the ground war.
That's a cope. Russia hurt itself more than anyone by not helping Armenia. Now no other country will ever trust Russia. And no one wants to be the ally of a country where "oh you made us unhappy, so we won't help you anymore" is no basis for a meaningful alliance anyway. Even Rome needed allies.
You seem confused. Nord Stream is owned by Russia, not Germany.
No, Russia is trying to do that, the West just gave Ukraine the means to survive and kill Russians.
We could take them all on, all at once, and still win quite easily. The world has never seen a power so mighty as the United States is now.
Russia and China hate each other. They constantly back stab each other and infight, they only put on a front for the international media. Look how China and Russia: "China and Russia on the opening day of the Winter Olympics declared a "no limits" partnership, backing each other over standoffs on Ukraine and Taiwan with a promise to collaborate more against the West." Then mere weeks later, China noped the fuck out of that and gave Russia the cold shoulder because it didn't want to get sanctioned. LOL but you think the EU, which hates everything Russia stands for, would ally with Russia? lol okay.
To what end? What is the purpose of the alliance? Certainly not to invade America or attack it in any way, which would be suicide, as the US Navy and US air force can kick the shit out of the rest of the world quite easily, and the US is far away and beyond the attack capability of any country. Economic? The EU depends on the US for virtually everything high tech. It wouldn't cut itself off just to make you happy.
It quite clearly does care, you're just blinded by your irrational, emotional hatred of the West so you can't think clearly and deny basic reality.
