Yea I love how sports is the only thing they want meritocracy.
Even worse than that: They only want meritocracy when it comes to running around on the field. Everywhere else? They promote women refs (And had a big "ALL WOMEN FLYOVER" for the game). They force teams to interview black coaches. They give teams free draft picks if they have black coaches that get poached. All the talk about owners revolves around demanding more "Minority owners" (In this case, the vastly over-represented jewish owners count as White). Meritocracy when it helps blacks, socialism when it doesn't help.
Bingo. And if you think about it the rule about black coaches does them no favor and they would be better off to be judged on merit because owners will never say this but if you hire a black coach and they suck you are stuck with them for at least a few years

Saying that white jews own football teams in an "over-represented" fashion isn't an identity attack.
Because it makes them more shekels than than a meritocratic society ... because they'd lose.
