Despite my current account being new, I've been around TDW and the .win communities since the start. This is just like my 40th account or so. I get banned often.
KA2 was always a community I visited but not one of my primary communities. I remember years ago, KA2 seemed to have a very diverse community group with a lot of women also. I'd say the politics of KA2 was very bluepilled but with a realization that woke in video games is problematic.
I used to joke that KA2 was full of horned up teenagers that just wanted to see big anime titties and were upset feminists kept censoring their video games.
When I used to post on KA2, I usually got downvoted significantly, had people reply to me very angrily and I'd usually get banned.
Now it seems like through IMP1's nonstop barrage on the community, KA2 has almost become some MGTOW/KA2/ConPro hybrid and it's not even Imp1 anymore posting nonstop anti-women (not just crazy feminists) articles. Even the mods seem to have given up with a lot of stuff they'd have previously banned over.
Now arguably, any "redpilled" community if not constantly censored will kind of divulge into what KA2 has become because as people start to open their eyes to what's going on, this progression might be inevitable but I feel like Imp1 has had a major impact himself entirely that might have ensured the community didn't naturally progress itself but it just driven off a lot of previous members.
How does the KA2 community feel? Everything all good? Or not really as good as it was a couple years ago?
Umm, the concentration camps are prisons, and the people in them are prisoners. The point is that China embarked on a massive building spree of new "prisons" in the late 2010s and shifted a huge portion of the Uyghur population into them. These people were not arrested for particular crimes, and convicted in court after a trial or anything. These are classic communist style "re-education" camps. China's initial lie was to say "on this is just a normal prison, all countries have prisons!" until the scale of it showed that to be a lie.
Yet it exists. A quick google search yielded the following: https://www.aspi.org.au/report/uyghurs-sale & direct link to pic

These are ads picked up from the chinese language internal internet. One thing you will learn quickly about the CCP if you study them, as I have, is that they are very sloppy and lazy, ["cha bu duo"] and so it isn't unusual for embarrassing things to get onto the chinese internet where they think the outside world can't see it.
It makes perfect sense to me that the greedy CCP would try to defray the costs of their massive genocide campaign by packaging up the Uyghurs from the camps and shipping them off to factories to profit off their labor. It doesn't make logistical sense to try to extract that labor in the prisons themselves because Xinjiang is remote and under scrutiny. There are lots of pictures of Uyghurs being loaded onto trains en masse and shipped elsewhere in China.
I didn't say the genocide was real, I said it is what they honestly believed. It wasn't a pretext. It wasn't some excuse for an evil ulterior motive. The West honestly believed that they had to be do-gooders jumping in to stop a genocide. I know your worldview can't accept this, since you think all leaders are evil, cold-hearted, machievellian realists, but that's simply not an accurate picture of the world. Most western leaders do whatever will make them popular in the press.
You don't understand western democracies at all. You assume that we operate like Russia, where a dictator wields power, controls the press, and manipulates the population all according to realpolitik. Nope. In the West, it is the press who are a power unto themselves and manipulate both the people and politicians according to their own interests. The reason Republicans hate the media so much is because the media here manipulates people to help the Democrats.
Virtue signaling is the new god of the Left, you know that. These people are indoctrinated to believe that the purpose of life is to signal the most virtue, and they then have these virtues warped and twisted to promote leftist ideology. One of the narratives of the Left is that the West ignored the african genocides of the 1990s because of white racism. Therefore, when Serbia began to look like it would impose a "final solution" on Kosovo, the natural liberal reaction was to try to prove to themselves that they were not racists by stomping on the evil white man who would dare to raise his hand against the innocent, pure brown people. No realpolitik involved whatsoever. The entire incident is EASILY explained through typical libtard ideology. I know, I saw it 1st hand, I was in college in the 90s at the time and participated in "debates" where my classmates and professors were overwhelmingly in support of bombing Serbia solely because of their claims of genocide and bullying. These people fetishize the idea of the loud, angry, morally outraged liberal, railing against the unjust system. They have almost no opportunities to actually do this anymore since they are the dominant power, so they go out of their way to invent them. I watched classmates lose emotional control ranting and raving about how evil Milosevic was and HOW DARE I defend mass murder?!?!? They were all like Greta Thunberg, and Greta isn't an outlier, she became so popular because she so perfectly channeled the libtard id.
Kosovo was an autonomous region which was highly independent from Serbia and only nominally "assigned" to it. Serbia had very limited control over Kosovo, similar to the Kurdish regions in Syria or Iraq.
Except that's not the reality. It was Russia, not Ukraine, who had invaded the Donbas. And the front lines there had been static for years, Ukraine was not attacking anything in 2022 when Russia invaded.
Had Ukraine launched a huge offensive into the Donbas in 2022, and Russia honestly believed that Ukraine intended to carry out a genocide, so Russia began to bomb Ukraine to help the Donbas, THAT would be a correct comparison. That is not at all what happened, though.
I agree with the war because Saddam was an open enemy, and the enemies of the US ought to be defeated by force of arms if necessary. We don't spend so much on our military to have it not be used for its intended purpose.
I don't agree with the nation-building, though. We should have just put a puppet in power who would obey us, and who commanded the loyalty of the Baathists, and left the Baath in power. This would have fully accomplished our objectives with minimal disruption and no insurgency. The whole purpose of the insurgency was that it was Sunnis afraid that they would lose power in the new democratic state. That is the realpolitik answer. I'm not one of those Americans who act like the US ought to be using its military like some do-gooder NGO.
Just because China hasn't invaded anyone lately, doesn't mean they don't intend to do so in the future. China invaded and conquered Tibet, Xinjiang, and other areas, and only stopped when the US stepped in to defend Taiwan, then had its military power tied up and greatly damaged by the Korean War. After Korea, the United States kept China "encircled" and unable to expand further. That's the only reason China stopped invading.
Once China believes that it can defeat the US in a war, the condition for its forbearance will be breached and it will resume where it left off in the late 1940s, and resume its empire building conquest.
