The second camp were people who believed that radical leftism was a firewalled problem, that wokeism would crash on the harsh rocks of reality that exist outside the safe spaces of the universities.
Camp #1 was 100% correct. Camp #2 were so thoroughly wrong that one might think they were just crypto leftists sabotaging the opposition.
Remember when most were still in the denial stage? "It's only some crazy people on tumblr, they're not in the real world".
