yes and remember Hillary's clownish "reset button". for years, the Democrats, while hearing the same briefings that Romney did, lied to the American people and pretended that they alone could make nice with Russia.
when Putin decided to undermine Hillary in 2016, the Democrats took it personally and - needing a scapegoat to cope since they refused to accept the legitimacy of the election - made it personal with Putin. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." It's literally in the Democrat handbook.
Hillary was literally planning to provide air support to ISIS and Al Qaeda against Russia and its allies, and had already backed a coup against the pro-Russian president of Ukraine. Putin didn't start this, the Democrats did.
This. One of her campaign promises was a no fly zone in Syria which would of meant shooting down Russian planes at the time.
I remember too one of the leaks of the diplomatic cables, was an a group of intelligence analysts and what they said was that America (and Democrats specifically) needed to stop fucking around in Russia's backyard because they were sick of it and at some point we were gonna find out.
