How the fuck does someone get 15 chances to win an election? How the fuck do republicans take the house and end up being led by a democrat from California? The Republican Party is literally 90% RINOs who openly hate their constituents. Someone tell me again why we shouldn’t start a third party. Because we’d lose? Does it look like we’re winning?

It reminds me of Brexit and to a lesser extent the 2016 election. Just keep repeating the election until elites get the outcome they want.
From a purely realistic standpoint anyone else who could have gotten the votes needed would have been worse than McCarthy. I'm wondering what they did to get Gaetz and Boebert to back down. I was reading that it almost came to blows on the House floor, and of course the Democrats have a habit of murdering inconvenient people. I wonder if the red side of the uniparty had their Democrat butt buddies threaten to Foster their asses if they didn't cut it out.
Not to mention the whole fuss around the EU Lisbon Treaty and the EU Nice Treaty, where the EU's response to losing a couple of referenda about turning the EU from a trade zone into a giant over-arching continental bureaucracy that happened to have a government attached, was the Lisbon Treaty. The EU's response to the lack of public support for their first attempt, the Nice Treaty, was to stop asking the public
If 90% of GOP don't represent their voters, it should not be surprising that a "Democrat" (a GOP who doesn't represent his voters) becomes speaker, correct?

It was massively entertaining when near fisticuffs broke out among the ruling class rabble-rousers. Congress hasn't been this alive in decades.

Gaetz openly asked McCarthy for a Committee placement. At which point the junior Republican from Alabama tried to kill Gaetz with his bare hands.
If McCarthy is a Democrat, how can you claim that "Republicans took the House"?
Bizarre comment. My entire point was that 90% of the GOP don’t represent their voters.
