I'm surprised there wasn't similar "It's racist" commentary in Canada.
There's many Inuit communities on the Labrador coast where soft drinks are some of the only shelf stable liquids that can be affordably shipped up to the Arctic.
Ugh. It's the same in places like Hawaii or the Navajo rez. Milk is $5-$10 a gallon because of it. It's nicknamed the Rez tax.
