I think there was a story confirmed that social media companies in the west were using their facial recognition software to id dead Russian soldiers so the Ukrainian soldiers could send pics of them dead to their loved ones.

So this is the one case I'm less 'this seems trying to insert themselves into a topic' more a completely understandable call for scorched earth because if they did that to me, I'd be asking the military to consider using white phosphorus and napalm against them!
