You have likely heard of the false allegations of mass graves caused by towns using the same graveyard, said graveyards being old, the decay of the wooden coffins and markers, and the shifting of bones in the ground caused by the "wandering landmine" effect, but I have also noticed that while natives were banned from leaving the reserves without a pass if registered at one point, they could simply deregister and still practice their culture while also being able to vote and keep their kids out of residential schools even if it meant risking homelessness due to getting banned from the reserve by the government without having a pass or necessary government employment.

Yeah, I've been screaming about the fact that the Canadian government implicitly allowed, and Canadian civil rights organizations explicitly endorsed a Red Terror campaign that attacked 64 catholic churches, burning many to the ground, while Dictator Trudeau made sure that Christian pastors were being arrested and charged for violating inhuman Covid restrictions.
The media claimed that everyone who has ever attended a residential school in their lives was called a "survivor" so they can pretend that these schools were death camps.
Not one fucking grave has actually been unearthed, and the woman who originally set this off specifically said she couldn't confirm whether they were mass graves or not.
The Canadian Left wanted an excuse to terrorize Christians and murder Catholics, just like they did in Spain. I won't tolerate anyone claiming anything else.
As a Libertarian, I don't like residential schools as a concept, and I will absolutely accept that their purpose (particularly in America) was to eradicate the Indian's ability to preserve their culture. That doesn't excuse pretending that it was a holocaust, or supporting terrorism.
I saw an ad on TV the other night recruiting for compensation for Day school attendees.
Or you know, another word for that is simply School.
considering what happens in modern schools that's more than appropriate.
