This post is disinformation. Trump’s big announcement today was NOT the trading cards. It was an announcement as to his 2024 campaign’s platform concerning free speech and its defense. You can find a transcript of his announcement here:
In the announcement, Trump makes some strong policy commitments for 2024, including banning federal agencies from colluding with private entities to suppress free speech, revising section 230, creating an online/digital bill of rights, among other proposed solutions.
onetruephilosoraptor is attempting to spin the trading card thing as Trump’s big announcement to say he’s ‘grifting’ and not taking his campaign seriously/being lazy (despite being the only person to announce a campaign for 2024 and campaigning at all at this point, nearly 2 years before the election). He makes no mention of Trump’s actual big announcement.
It’s fine if you dislike Trump or prefer DeSantis, but actively spreading fake news here and misleading people on the daily isn’t okay. Kindly fuck off.

I’ll admit this was in connection with his ‘major announcement’ truth from yesterday, but you framed all your comments as if he doesn’t care about policy, is just grifting, and not taking his campaign seriously/being lazy, while entirely ignoring and failing to mention his actual major free speech policy announcement today which shows a pretty good platform.
