Isn't another amnesty for illegals practically a power grab at this point? If several million illegals receive voting rights... wouldn't that simply entrench the long-awaited Democratic supermajority in every American Federal election at last?
Republican'ts are utter morons. It's like they're doing everything in their power to commit political suicide and bring about a dominant-party system governed by their ostensible opponents.
Why can't Republican'ts support, at the very least, any of the following:
Most importantly:
Instead, they just keep doing on nothing to prevent the emergence of a Democratic dominant-party system.
Maybe they think if they promote amnesty they'll get some votes. Cuckservatives are always creaming over the Latino/whatever vote.
As much as some people want them to be (prominent nativists come to mind), Republicans are not going to be the party of white people. They're sure as hell not going to be the party of black people, the other main native constituency of this country. The general view of the "I don't see color" crowd is that regardless of their efforts, the country is going to be majority Hispanic in a hurry. You either court their votes, or let the other guy have 'em. Illegal immigration is not a simple topic within the Latino community, however I think most of them want to see a path to citizenship for illegals. They may even be pro-wall, but they don't want their neighbors shipped back to Honduras. Neither do, I mean you have a constituency of, Republicans that profit from immigrant labor.
Republicans have supported amnesty in the past, and look where that's got them? Well, they're not powerful enough to do anything for you supposedly, but they're enough in power to do things for them. As bad as it seems to have gone for them, they're still getting roughly 50% of the vote, and powerful Republicans are laughing all the way to the bank.
Indeed, and that crossed my mind when I composed the comment. The whole 'natural conservatives' meme. I didn't bother mentioning it because it seemed intuitive that if the Biden Administration was the one who amnestied them, they would be clearly be beholden to the Democrats and not to the Republicans because of the actions of these treacherous Republicans. A Republican would have to be particularly dense to think that the Democrats amnestying illegals would help Republicans more so than Democrats.
I think their voter base will become, say, 80-90% White, but the GOP will never be pro-White, i.e. it will never become an ethnonationalist or nativist party. This is probably what you mean in your comment: the GOP will never use its 'implicit Whiteness' as a strength, and will always see it as a disadvantage needing rectification by doubling-down on its appeals to other races.
Since the GOP, I suspect, will never be able to attract large numbers of any nonwhite group despite doubling-down on their efforts to do so, they will simply decline into obscurity under a de facto Democratic dominant-party state.
Yes, you're correct in the last paragraph as well: The current crop of Republican politicians probably by and large have no party loyalty and thus by extension couldn't care less about whether the party can still get elected on the Federal level. They'll still be elected in the lesser levels of government for perhaps decades to come, although things will turn against them there too (and the signs of that are already clear in Texas and a few other 'purple', formerly Red, states).
Yeah I don't think they will promote whiteness. The two party system has existed though a lot. I kind of don't see a one party state like some people think is coming. Demographics have switched their votes before. I think republicans will get Latino votes, or they won't be coming close to 50% any more.
One thing we know for sure is that Republicans like winning elections, but they hate working, so they don't want to win too many elections. Thus one wonders if the establishment figures in the party and media apparatus believe their grift is secure regardless of how many illegals flood in.
So true bestie...........
Immigration has always been invasion. The native Americans didn’t have the power to prevent their own cultural extinction at the hands of hostile foreign powers. It appears that white Americans didn’t have the power either.
Republicans are beholden to their donors, not their voters. I keep saying that you guys want the GOP to win elections more than they do. Their donors aren't concerned with the future of the party, but it will probably be fine for them anyway. They'll just betray white people harder than ever to pander to the "New Americans." They don't care. They have a decades long record telling you that.
