Three videos, really?
Post your topic, include the videos, state your points. I'm not watching all of these.
If I wasn't interested I wouldn't have responded. I'm saying you need to condense your point and then make it more concisely.
One thing about the whole healthcare debate that is rarely discussed and needs more attention is not the type of payment and delivery, but the global shortage of trained healthcare professionals to begin with. This is never addressed. Including the mass global firing of existent healthcare workers who didn't want the vacc and walked out, we can talk about that. Qualified doctors and specialists who have been fired because they disputed the covid narrative.
Healthcare systems have become worse whether they're socialized or not due to a shortage of trained professionals and government edicts.
That covers the supply side. On the demand side there is mass immigration.
Capitalism vs socialism is a false dichotomy. The largest privately owned healthcare providers and insurance companies are publicly traded, aka owned by people and run by proletarianized dictatorships. You will also never extricate economics from politics, which is an essential concept that libertarians often fail to understand, for they both come into existence simultaneously.
The form of a system is far less important than the people governing it and the noumena that drives them. Solving healthcare requires absolute regime change.
One of the biggest errors the right committed is in accepting Marx's frame. They accepted the dichotomy of socialism vs capitalism and in the process made capitalism a sacred concept. The sacred should be the domain of religion and not economics.
Another issue is that I’ve got relatives who dont take care of themselves and vote for the candidates who insist they have a right to top of the line healthcare. As a Christian im all for helping those in need but I trust my church to help those in need or private charities I’ve worked with but I do bristle at the idea that those who are capable of taking care of themselves don’t.
True loves means not enabling self-destructive behaviors, which can be one of the hardest things to do.
Love isn't all cookies and asspats and this is something lots of people fail to acknowledge
Hmm, yes I agree. Shallow and noumenal.
Of course it does.
If I am forced to pay for socialist health insurance with my taxes, why would I want to pay far more additional money for private insurance? Nobody would do that except rich people with money to burn.
no socialist government is going to allow people to "opt out" and pay far reduced taxes.
at that point the government is just forcing me to pay for a product I don't want and aren't using. seems pretty shit to me.
