Elon doesn't have full control over his platform yet and he knows it. He needs to play his cards very fucking close to his chest because there's a massive target on his back. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if the Trump poll was a way to take heat off of him.
It was probably just a publicity stunt + a way to stress test how things are working with most of the women and communists fired, but it also made communists very very upset so I fully support it.
