Oh, the Ubisoft text.
Yeah I was about to say isn't that the same template on all Assassin's Creed games?
Yea, Ubisoft games had that nonsense for a while, and it never mentions political diversity.
"gender-diverse" sounds new but I haven't played any recent Ubisoft games.
It started out as a hedge against accusations of "cultural insensitivity" since the original Assassins Creed had you killing muslims.
The fact that they've been using always-online DLC was reason enough for me to wash my hands of them and the Hitman series. This is just the nugget on top of the shit sundae they've become.
The always-online shit is so absurd in the new Hitman games. It's a singleplayer game but you have to be online to play it.
Between that and Ubisoft getting more and more woke I'm glad I only got part 1 for dirt cheap and never got parts 2 and 3.
Ubisoft's aggressive DRM is the reason I haven't purchased any Ubisoft game in over decade.
Ironically it never stopped me pirating, of course.
I think they've said something like that for more than just the last one, though "gender-diverse" might be new. In any case, they replaced the white engilsh woman who gives you intel with a black "hacker" girl in 3, and the two characters for the sniper missions are a black guy and a side-buzz-cut girl, and I'm sure they'd replace 47 with someone "diverse" if he weren't so iconic, so yes, it's woke.
I’ve never in my career met a technical black woman. Not once.
Where is this black girl hacker trope coming from?
lamb's blood.
yep.
I'll "passover" their game.
