Brave on mobile? Same thing is happening to me. Right now, I've had to put both here and pdw in the same tab for it to consider me logged in there.

I've run into that problem. You need to make sure that you're logged out of every site in the network and try again.

Tried that too, but I am logged in again as soon as I reload this page.
