XIV has apparently been so goddamn good, its Shadowbringers villain ranks 6th on ALL FINAL FANTASY CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME. That's above even Sephiroth from the VII fanatics!
If I had the time to spare, I'd still be playing it, only got to the end of Stormblood.
(dating myself here) Golbez will always have a special place among villians, although Kefka's whooping laughter was pretty good too...
...I've had a copy of ffiv complete edition, or whatever it was called, on psp for a couple years... I beat the snes certain years and years ago, but I've never gotten around to playing after years, etc.
Really oughta go back and finish it someday...
Golbez. Doesn't surprise me at all, when Endbringer pretty much had "Paladin on the Moon" in your face in its trailer.
