Doesn't make sense to verify a handle since the handle doesn't identify anyone usually. Twitter originally had it so verified account couldn't change their name (was permanently set to their real name), which made sense, but evidently the Blue Cheka felt oppressed and they changed it to this idiotic system.
In some fairness I can understand why they wouldn't want to have it set to their real name, especially if that account is representing a business or online identity.
A business' real name is their name.
You don't want Wendy's to be impersonating McDonald's, and making questionable claims. For Wendy's, the name "Wendy's" is their real name. Wendy's Incorporated.
Likewise, "Projekt Melody" is the real name of intellectual property being presented as a speaking entity, even if it is owned by a parent company.
Don't see any issues there.
