Did Lenin hate the tsarist regime? Maybe he hated it intellectually (because it stood in the way of him seizing power), but he did not hate it emotionally, as far as I know.

In any case: let me rephrase. Keep hate to whatever extent is beneficial and not harmful to yourself.
