Problem is that unless twitter can sell and monetize that access, it's still going to go bankrupt.

If Elon slashes the payroll to the bone, maybe he can make it sustainable.

But yes, he grossly overpaid. He probably could have bought up the company for half the price he paid if he had done it more slowly.
