Abusing power to use your “first amendment rights” to curb stomp someone else (a private business, no less) who doesn’t want to be forced to show your shit seems fairly… Sub-optimal, to me…
I really don’t think that was the original intention of the damn thing, tbh…
And the wild hypocrisy of them forcing tech companies to do the exact opposite at the same damn time makes it even worse, IMHO…
That's their idea of America though. One where they can force people to obey them, and their opponents aren't even allowed a choice. So when it benefits them, they love America a little.
Manifest Destiny had a clear defined goal and end point. If these guys reached their believed goal, or even had to define their opposition, they would collapse into infighting and purity spirals because they lack either.
