Yup, although I don't mean to overstate his Damascene conversion. Like most of the other dissidents on YT who have remained part of the establishment in some way, their criticism is dripping with qualifiers.

It's always 'I don't agree with the anti-vaxxers BUT...' and behind the 'but' is where they find the room to vent all the frustrations that have pent up through their cognitive dissonance. That's where they get the freedom from the shame the establishment would normally put on them for non-conformity, where they can spill out the moral indignation they've been forced to hide. With Prasad, the part still wedded to the establishment says science is great, vaccines are great, even the mRNA jabs are great when used for the elderly, and then once he's genuflected at the altar long enough, he finds the mental freedom to start bitching about his fellow lefties who won't listen to the myocarditis data. I find there to still be big ideological - at root, emotional - blind spots in the science-fetishism he indulges in, but iirc he has at least been saying for a long time that masks are functionally useless.
