according to a research team led by Dr Emma Zhang.

All new ideas attached to chinese names should be assumed to be utterly stupid and based on lies. Chinese are hyper competitive and have a long history of blatantly lying to try to get attention and hype. It's part of their culture now.

even though at the moment they are still hundreds of times less energy-dense than a lithium-ion battery.

I hate that US taxpayer money gets wasted on shit like this, even though in this particular case the idiots are in sweden.
