People have every right to drag this farce, and to dogpile it too. it's not just that it's bad on it's own, and it really is bad on it's own. It's that it's bad for the propose of destroying one of the best works of fiction ever created by humanity.
How would you know it's dishonest? You've only watched the trailers. At most you can say it's hyperbolic but that's hardly an accusation with weight these days.
There really are scenes in the show that look like basement quality cosplay. The show's effects are whiplash inducing, it has staggering quality drops and I say that as a fan of Stargate.
I think more of this show's budget was embezzled than actually used. It looks so cheap. Like, cosplay made of cardboard cheap.
