I've not watched the show but I've heard people say it is ok but I do hope it fails because of the race swap and feminist angle
Nerdrotic said it was kinda good but he did mention the race swap. Just seems so dumb that GRRM would allow that. Honestly if they want black ppl do a spin-off show set in the summer isles.

The original series did have black characters and it was fine. They could have done that but they wanted to add black characters to the center of the story. I kind of understand that but I would like them to do it in a good way rather then this forced crap. At what point can we just admit that most of it is anti-white racism.
I'm not sure why you would. They're taking successful white entertainment and shoehorning in blacks in the hopes you'll watch it with the same zeal. You won't. Noone does. That's why they don't come up with original content for blacks.
I understand wanting to have good black characters I just want black characters that make sense and not be forced.
Blade or Spawn are great, the addition of black characters in the original Game of Thrones series was fine. You can make some very good movies in Nubia and their conflict with Egypt for instance. I would like something like that. You can even make games, problem is that if you make accurate representation people get offended.
This is a big issue, accurate representations of black african nations tend to offend the left. This is extremely annoying as you can build upon the fact they were less developed to create more obscure mythos that can leak in to modern day. You just need some creativity and focus on positive aspects of their cultures.
Unfortunately current PC culture does not create new things, they want to "fix" representation that equals bastardize existing mythos or even history. Because showing black nations as less developed and violent is considered racist, despite being true. You need to show them like an idealized 17-18 century France but with black people instead of whites.
