He might look at MAGA as an alley of convience, not necessarily be MAGA himself. His cartoons are still very much Feminist Anti-Trans instead of MAGA Anti-Trans.
Also He did make this comic a few years ago. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ELiOdaGUwAAPO8i.jpg
If someone is gullible enough to fall for such that hard once, they cannot be fully trusted not to do so again. Politics aren't divorced from you as a person, what you believe in betrays much about your mental state and personality. And a grown adult person doesn't just 180 that hard, not without something far more horrifying underneath.
I doubt he is pretending, he probably truly believes what he says now. But like any TERF, its only because it personally effects him now and he thinks its some wild cancer taking over instead of directly blamable on people like him's actions from yesteryear.
We've also learned from decades of study that "being able to fall victim to a cult" is a personality trait onto itself. One that people don't just magically fix when they escape. Some might recognize what mistakes they made that led them astray and work to better themselves. Most simply become insane crusaders against those who they think dared to prey on them, and don't grow in the slightest from it.
For example, most atheists treated escaping "religion" as they would a cult, and built their entire personality on being "better" than it. Yet when wokeness came around, they fell completely and easily to a brand new cult that even the simplest of thinking could have helped them avoid.
Point is, it doesn't matter if I'm right. These people are not "suddenly based and red pilled." They are the same person they always were, just now they are saying things you agree with.
"There is a phenomenon of psychology that some people are prone to zealotry. It does not matter what they believe in, when they come to believe in something they believe in it with all their heart. This type of individual who is likely to end up becoming a fanatical member to a certain ideology will, if they somehow become disillusioned with it, often find it easier to adopt an opposing or opposite ideology and be just as fanatical to said new cause rather than simply moderating their commitment to their first ideology as needed and making caveats and exceptions to its general principles."
All I ever wanted was the truth.
right after the school board one was this https://sinfest.xyz/view.php?date=2022-08-26
Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. Guy dies, goes to hell, gets jabed by demon pitchforks. "At least I got the jab, otherwise it'd be worse."
Guy absolutely knows they are mass murdering people with the jab.
I understand. I used to be a liberal lefty myself. What drove me a way from the left was the Wokeness and more spefiically Feminism. I am just saying, I still see alot of Feminist themes in this guy's work. It is constantly about "poor opressed women" and women are often seen in "handmaid's tale" attire (reference to Feminist propaganda). Maybe he has embraced more rightwing, maybe even MAGA points of a view on most issues. You may be right about this guy. But he is still very much gynocentric, Leftwing or Rightwing, Feminist or not.
Afaict after reading the 2021 archive, the handmaids females are all subservient to devil corp in the comic, which is globohomo and is also the one pushing for woke and the decay of society in the comic
The only thing i dont get is the fembot thing but that requires someone who's read further than me
Trump is a feminist. Based on everything else he's said I have no doubt he would love to ally with TERFs. (while they mock him behind his back)
I don't think he's specifically a feminist. But he is a populist, and unfortunately popular opinion is very feminist. He has only ever billed himself as traditional insofar as the 1980s embody American traditionalism.
Me, I'm willing to accept that as a stepping-stone, because it was a glorious illusion.
MAGA is bigger than Trump, the philosphy was around before him and will be there after him. But you're not wrong in esessence here. Donald Trump is pretty much a 1990s liberal for better or for worse, mostly for the better, I do believe he truly loves America and wants good things for the American people.
1: Based.
2: ''A few years ago". We're talking about now.
