In depth writeup of Biden's incompetence in the run up to Russia's invasion of Ukraine: Biden knew for a fact that Russia would invade by October 2021 (archive.ph)

  • Biden lied to the public and claimed that Putin hadn't made up his mind, when US intelligence and the military had confirmed the invasion would definitely move forward and communicated this to Biden in a major October 2021 meeting. Biden was told exactly how the invasion would go down, and exactly where the thrusts would be - all of which were accurate (and obvious based on the satellite-confirmed disposition of forces). The only thing the US intel/military got wrong was in thinking the invasion would be launched earlier in the winter to avoid the Rasputitsa. Late Feb was not an ideal date because the mud came soon after.

  • France and Germany were gigacucks and basically refused to believe Putin would invade, and undermined any efforts to punish/deter Russia. By contrast, the UK and Baltics were ready to roll from day 1.

  • The Biden admin withheld evidence from Ukraine and went with a "just trust me, bro" which didn't change minds or convince the Ukrainians that Putin wasn't bluffing. One of the reasons the UK was on board was that the US had close intel sharing with them.

  • Zelensky purposely downplayed the invasion risk even after being told it was a certainty, because he was afraid of causing a panic and hurting the UKR economy and people leaving the country so they wouldn't be drafted. UKR went into the war a lot less prepared than it should have been because of this.

  • US diplomats all reported that the Russians were just bullshitting and had 0 interest in a diplomatic solution. The only reason for the whole diplomatic charade was to appease the French and Germans.

  • Russia thought the sanctions would be weak, and that the West would get outraged and stomp their feet while doing little else, and Russia was essentially correct on this point. Again, France and Germany are the primary reasons for this.

  • The Biden admin was deliberately ambiguous on sanctions, which Russia correctly interpreted as weakness and bluffing, again because the Biden admin was afraid that France and Germany would refuse to go along with any significant sanctions.

As for the depths of French cuckoldry:

On Feb. 20, Macron called Putin and asked him to agree to a meeting in Geneva with Biden. The conversation led the French president to believe that Putin was finally willing to seek a settlement. “It’s a proposal that merits to be taken into account,” Putin said... Macron pressed the Russian leader. “But can we say, today, at the end of this conversation, that we agree in principle? I would like a clear answer from you on that score. I understand your resistance to setting a date. But are you ready to move forward and say, today, ‘I would like a [face-to-face] meeting with the Americans, then expanded to the Europeans’? Or not?” Putin didn’t commit and appeared to have more-pressing matters at hand. “To be perfectly frank with you, I wanted to go [play] ice hockey, because right now I’m at the gym. But before starting my workout, let me assure you, I will first call my advisers.”

Imagine being the leader of France and being like "Putin, I need an answer, yes or no?!!?" and Putin is just like "Ehhh imma go play hockey, I'll call you back sometime." LOL.

Macron is heard laughing in delight as he hangs up. The French president and his advisers thought they had a breakthrough. Macron’s diplomatic adviser, Emmanuel Bonne, even danced.

Macron is the simp who gets told "I see you as a friend" by his crush, and thinks it means she loves him.

But the following day, in a televised address, Putin officially recognized two separatist Ukrainian provinces in Donbas, including territory controlled by Kyiv, as independent states.

The bottom line is that the American intelligence was right all along, meanwhile just look at this in February, literally 1 week before the attack: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/us-warnings-russia-invade-frustrate-ukrainians-rcna16358

It's not the American fault that Ukrainiane were ruled by a bunch of pacifist hippy idiots, who were angry about being desperately warned they're about to be murdered.

A pacifist hippy idiot doesn't repeatedly shell civilian targets for years. Nor do they amass tens of thousands of troops just outside neighboring regions.

Can you give me some exact dates and places of when and where did they "repeatedly shell civilian targets for years [sic]" during the period of his entire presidency until 2022, the period when practically no civilians died in active hostilities?

(A few died and more were injured, almost all from old unexploded munitions and mines. On both sides of the line of contact.)

Also, what were these mysterious "neighbouring regions".

To help you, here's for example the last months of 2021, when Russia was preparing for the full scale war over the lies that you just repeated:

December 2021

From 1 to 31 December 2021, Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded six civilian casualties: one killed (a woman) and five injured (all men). One man was injured by light weapons fire in territory controlled by the self-proclaimed ‘Donetsk people’s republic’, one man was injured by an anti-personnel mine in Government-controlled part of Donetsk region, one woman was killed and two men were injured as a result of ERW handling in Government-controlled part of Donetsk region, and one man was injured as a result of ERW handling in territory controlled by the self-proclaimed ‘Luhansk people’s republic’.

November 2021

From 1 to 30 November 2021, OHCHR recorded four civilian casualties (all injured): two men and two women. All of them were caused by active hostilities (shelling and SALW fire): one in territory controlled by the self-proclaimed ‘Donetsk people’s republic’, one in territory controlled by the self-proclaimed ‘Luhansk people’s republic’, one in Government-controlled part of Donetsk region, and one in Government-controlled part of Luhansk region.

Total civilian casualties in 2021

The total number of civilian casualties recorded by OHCHR in 2021 has totaled 110: 25 killed (16 men, two women, three boys, one girl and three adults whose sex is not yet known) and 85 injured (56 men, 21 women, six boys and two girls), a 26.2 per cent decrease compared with 2020 (149: 26 killed and 123 injured), and the lowest annual civilian casualties for the entire conflict period.

I say you should stop listening to whoever lied to you, and perhaps tell them they're faggots.

I suppose these events never happened then according to you? There are several more reports just like these in the days leading up to the invasion.
