Chinese game companies generally get blocked from US/Jap platforms because their games are trash, though they've been getting into app stores somewhat. They SEETHE at the taxes they have to pay to Apple/Google.
China is completely unable to make its own competing video game platform, so the CCP plan is to destroy the power of the existing platforms and break the market open to getting flooded with Chinese games. The Epic lawsuit was aimed at accomplishing this.
And FYI China only sees a tiny, insignificant fraction of the money spent on Apple products. Although assembly happens there, Apple pays very little for this.
