The 2nd Amendment protects the 1st, but the 1st is a good first line of defense. The UK has no tradition of free speech, which is sort of why free speech exists to the extent that it does in America. They will claim to sign on to some globalist convention of human rights that pays lip service to free speech whilst being full of contradictory rights for special interest groups -- like the right to not be offended.
